I'm heartbroken to share the news about Taisto travelling to the Rainbow Bridge. He suffered of OCD and severe osteoarthritis and unfortunately there was the only humane thing to do and let go.

I'm so sorry for this outcome. Taisto was a dog with zero evil hair in him, the kindest soul ever. My goal as a breeder is to breed long-lived healthy dogs, but unfortunately things don't always go like planned.

My deepest condolenses to Taisto's family. It's utterly unfair and sad to loose a dog at this age 💔

Birthday girl in da house!

Hilda, the absolute Queen Of Fucking Everything is celebrating her birthday today. She's now 12 years old, still in very good shape. Joining our normal long forest walks, only on very cold days she stays rather under blanket and is allowed to do so <3

Today she will get a Runeberg Cake instead of a liver cake. It's Runeberg Day here in Finland, and she just loves sweets 🎂

These girls are on fire, again! Today Terhi and Amelie (Henry x Hjørdis) reached yet another milestone and gained the title RTK3 🎉

They placed 2nd today and will now move forward to the highest class! Huge congrats, girls 💐

Our boy run to his name and got himself in the book of winners, Eino is the winner of the Lure Coursing Cup 2025 🤩What an achievement, well done!

2025 was a good year for Eino. He closed the title Finnish Champion, took home 2 lure coursing certificates, passed the mental description (MH, gunshot proof) with nice results and passed his health tests. What else there is to hope for? In everyday life he is a level headed Ridgeback, easy going, self confident and a lot of fun to train with! This year I'll try to push myself to get our heel work in order so we could consider an obedience trial...

At the moment future looks bright for Eino💚 He is still too young for breeding purposes but if he stays healthy, he will have a limited availability later.

The Finnish Sighthound Association has released the lure coursing cup results 2025 and look who climbed to the highest podium 😍 Well done, Eino! By this win he is invited to Suomi Cup race in May 2026.
