Hello world!
On April 19th Chanel gave birth to 8 little miracles. Puppy number 3, a girl with 4 crowns, had grown angelwings already before arrival and so we have 7 puppies in the box. 6 puppies with a ridge and 1 ridgeless. So far all all ridges seem to be correct, no kinks detected. DS will be checked later today. All puppies are spoken for.

Chanel and puppies are doing fine, the human involved is a bit tired

Day 3 in the puppypen
Puppies are now 3 days old. All of them are gaining weight as they should. Chanel is doing fine too, she’s a devoted mother and is still spending 24/7 in the puppypen.
Puppies 1 week
Puppies are now 1 week old. Time goes so, so fast! Miss Pink has reached the milestone of 1 kg, on day 6. This girl has her priorities straight 😀
Nice progress!
It’s been now 3,5 weeks since the biopsy, and the nose looks very nice. Probably recent cloudy weather has been of great help. We’ll see what happens when the sun is shining again.
Summer and still good
Summer came early this year, and sun has been shining a lot. Sunbathing is not recommended for dogs with DLE, but we have decided to go by quality over quantity. Oiva has a free choice of going out also on sunny days, we just protect his nose with sunscreen. So far it works.
March 2022
The winter went well, nose wise. Unfortunately in March the sun was shining a bit more and the DLE activated. Luckily the situation is under control, and we’ve managed to stabilize it with local treatment only. Fingers crossed for an easy summer!
The journey begins!
Henry and Hjørdis fell in love as we hoped and the mating took place in the end of April. Hopefully we will have puppies in the end of June!
Buns in the oven!
Pregnancy confirmed! We had a happy visit to Reprovet and Lena Lindh. We ordered a positive result and that’s what we got 🙂 Thanks for the best service again!
Day 35
Hjørdis is now on day 35. She’s feeling well and enjoying the summer wibes <3
